On Sunday September 15th, the congregation, staff, and families of Bethel Lutheran Church and Preschool in Hobe Sound, Florida shared in a Preschool Consecration Service. At the Sunday service the 2013/2014 preschool year was dedicated to the Glory of God. All in attendance prayed for the preschool children, the families, and the preschool staff.
A very special Bethel Preschool Alumni was in attendance, Savanna Webber and performed a beautiful vocal of The Lord’s Prayer. Savanna is a local Florida high school student who is a 3rd year first soprano in MCHS’s Opus Choir. She has studied voice for 8 ½ years under Rita de Petris Vallis and is a member of Artists for a Cause.
Pastor Scott’s message stated“By God’s inspiration and grace we have been priviledged to teach God’s love and Christian values through Bethel Lutheran Church and Preschool for 26 years…As we strengthen the bridge between our Congregation and Preschool, we will, by extension, improve the quality of life at Bethel and throughtout this
Florida Community. For every child or partent whose life we impact on this campus by our joint efforts, we are
advancing the love of God.”
Many children were in attendance, they heard a special message about Noah and the Ark and the symbol of the rainbow as God’s Promise to the world. After the brief bible store with Pastor Scott the children enjoyed a special Sunday School session where they made their very own Ark. After the service all enjoyed a special cake and
snacks.
