The 1 Year Old Team
Jasmine Dampier- Room 8 Lead Teacher
Hi my name is Jasmine Dampier. I am the new lead teacher for the one year old class. I recently moved to Hobe Sound. I have 3 children and a dog.
This is my first time at Bethel Lutheran Preschool. I am so excited to be a part of the team. I am also honored to be providing care for the little ones in my class. I can’t wait to help them reach their milestones and help them progress to the next level.
I have previously worked in child care and I have completed my 45 DCF hours. Last year I have worked with AmeriCorps and was an elementary literacy interventionist at Hobe Sound Elementary. When I was done there I would volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of Hobe Sound. I also have personal experience as well. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends when I am not working.
Siena Pollis - Room 8 Assistant Teacher
My name is Siena Pollis and I am from Hobe Sound. I am grateful to return to Bethel this year as a full-time assistant teacher after spending a few summers assisting. I have always enjoyed working with children. As a teen I returned to Hobe Sound Elementary as a volunteer and earned Volunteer of the year for the school. I also assisted in numerous summer camps for US Sailing Center of Martin County and the Children’s Museum of the Treasure Coast.
After completing high school and my associates degree simultaneously in 2022 I was thrilled to receive my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida this past spring. One of the highlights of my time at UCF was working with Canine Companions in assisting with puppy raising for future generations service dogs.
In my spare time I love spending time with my friends and family especially on days when we can take our boat to the sandbar with my dog.
I am looking forward to caring for and enriching your child’s day while they are here at Bethel!
Olivia Cariani- Room 8 Assistant Teacher
Hi, my name is Olivia Cariani, and I am from Hobe Sound. This is my first time at Bethel Lutheran, and I am grateful to be part of the team. I am currently in school pursuing a degree in criminal justice in hopes of becoming a law enforcement officer.
In my free time, I enjoy going out on the boat with friends and family and playing pickleball. I’ve always wanted to make a difference within my community, and working at Bethel will give me the chance to do so!
Hailey Smith- Room 8 Assistant Teacher
Hi everyone my name is Miss Hailey & I am 24 years young. I just recently became a mommy to my beautiful baby girl Oaklynn (: I have been working with kids for 5 years and have been at Bethel since 2022. I love to work with all age groups as working with each age has taught me the importance and difference of each milestone. I’m a very nurturing & understanding person which is why I’m passionate about my career. I look forward to meeting and getting to know everyone and working along side each parent to insure that their child is happy and safe (:

Lauren Rogers - Room 3 Lead Teacher
Hi I'm Ms. Lauren, I've been at Bethel in January 2020, and have been a lead teacher since August 2021. I love working with our littlest angels and helping provide them with a loving, engaging classroom where they're safe to grow and explore. When I'm not in the classroom I'm enjoying spending my time with my husband and 2 sons, both of which have attended Bethel.
I am always looking for ways to learn and grow as a teacher in order to provide the children the best care I can. Since my start at Bethel I've earned my DCF 45 hour staff credential along with yearly continued education courses, including those focused on Safe Sleep and Early Literacy. I have also gained my Florida Child Care Professional Credential for ages birth through 5 years and hold a C.L.A.S.S certification in Infant, Toddler and Pre-Kindergarten ages and have a micro-credential in Emergent Literacy through the University of Florida. I was also able to utilize the T.E.A.C.H scholarship to go back to college to work towards my A.S in Early Childhood Education.
Being able to work with these children is an amazing blessing and I am so grateful that I get to spend time with them every day.

Christie Shamber- Room 3 Assistant Teacher
Christie is a native of Hobe sound. She is a mother to two adult children . She will be a grandmother to her first grandchild soon. Christie has worked with young children since she was a teenager. Her hobbies include reading , baking and traveling!
Hailey Wilkes- Room 4 Lead Teacher
Hello, my name is Haylie Wilkes. I am a mom to 5 beautiful girls; we live in Hobe Sound. In our free time we like to go to the beach, play in the pool, or up to the springs. I am so excited about working in room 4, I knew I would love to work in Bethel preschool after my daughter Willa graduated VPK a couple years ago! Two more of my younger girls graduated VPK last year and my youngest will be in the 3’s class.
I am currently working on my Bachelor's Degree and really enjoy the endless continuing education courses in Early Childhood.
Ava Gloor- Room 4 Assistant Teacher
I’m Ava I'm from Hobe Sound and I graduated from South Fork High School in 2023. I am now in school

Kim Grubbs - Room 1 Lead Teacher
I am so happy to be back at Bethel Preschool teaching 3’s as Bethel has always held a special place in my heart. During my 19 years working at Bethel, I taught 3’s, Pre-K, and was the Preschool Director my last 6 years. I left Bethel in 2008 to work for the Martin County School District as the Citrus Grove Elementary Extended Day Manager and then Manager of the all twelve of the Districts Elementary Extended Day Programs.
I hold an AS degree in Early Childhood Education, an Advanced Level Preschool Director Credential, and I am certified to teach VPK.

Emily Gonzalez - Room 1 Assistant Techer
Hi, my name is Emily Gonzalez, I started at Bethel in 2023 and I am so excited to meet and help teach your little ones. I love working with children and have worked in child care for 7 years. I have a Micro-Credential in Early Literacy from the University of Florida and hold a certification in CLASS Preschool ages.
I have two girls, Marley who is 8 years old and Sky who is 4 years old. Marley graduated from Bethel 4 years ago and Sky graduated last fall.

Michaela Woodward- Room 2 Lead Teacher
Hello my name is Michaela Woodward, I started at Bethel in 2018 in aftercare while attending college and moved to teaching. I am actually a Bethel graduate myself so I love that I get to be apart of the same school I began my education!
I graduated from South Fork High School, and Obtained my Associates in psychology from Indian River State College! I have a C.L.A.S.S certification in Toddler and Pre-Kindergarten ages and a micro-credential in Emergent Literacy through the University of Florida.
I enjoy going to Disney and the beach on my free time and spending time with my family.
Having the opportunity to help each child grow both educationally and in faith is truly a blessing. I can not wait for another amazing year!

Jeanine Muscarella- Room 2 Assistant Teacher
Hi my name is Jeanine, I have worked at Bethel since 2020. I am currently working on a health science degree at Indian River state college and I hope to attend nursing school next year to become a nurse practitioner. I am a graduate of South Fork High School . In my free time I love to go to the beach and read and bake. I have two younger sisters and I’m so excited to watch your kiddos learn and grow in this upcoming school year!

Nancy Martin - Room 5 Assistant Teacher
My husband and I made Stuart our home in September 2021. Along with discovering all this area has to offer, I enjoy biking, gardening, reading, and any time I get to spend with my family. We have 4 adult children who live in various parts of the country and 4 grandchildren.
In my first several months after starting at Bethel in November, I had the opportunity of working in almost all the classrooms, but was very excited when a position became available as an assistant in VPK in 2022. It is a seemingly perfect fit for me! Assisting children in learning new skills and concepts is fulfilling, and I thoroughly enjoy working with the VPK team as well as with all the other staff who are dedicated to instilling a love of learning in the children we serve!

Lisa Mallard - Room 6 Assistant Teacher
I moved to Florida from Wisconsin 40 years ago. I have been married to my husband for 21 years. We have two children, a girl who is 21 and a boy who is 19 They have both graduated from Bethel and that is how I discovered this great place! I’ve been here for 17years now. I have always loved being around and working with children, discovering new personalities and helping them learn and grow. I love being there for them when they need a helping hand. I have my CLASS Foundations Certification, 45 hour Credential and my VPK Early Literacy Certification. My family loves being out in the boat and fishing. Both my kids are in the Explorer program through the Martin County Fire Rescue. They both want to follow in their father’s footsteps in becoming a firefighter. My husband was a Battalion Chief for 36 years. He has finally retired. I love being crafty, sewing or making jewelry and making and trying new recipes to bring into work for the ladies to try. I’d have to say I’m very lucky to be a part of Bethel for as long as I have and to be a part of the group of ladies that have become my family not to mention these precious gifts from God, we get to help everyday. |

Amy Netzer- Room 7 Lead Teacher
Hello, my name is Amy Netzer. I was born and raised in Palm Beach Gardens. My husband, Nick, and I have been married for 16 years. We moved to Stuart 10 years ago and love it here. We have two daughters, Piper and Quincy. Both are Bethel graduates and attend Pinewood Elementary. We have been a part of the Bethel family since Piper was 3 years old. From day one, it has been such a warm and loving environment. We had piece of mind knowing our children were safe and well taken care of while receiving the very best early childhood education. When Quincy was entering VPK, I decided I wanted to join the team as an assistant teacher. I enjoyed working with the children so much, I became qualified to become a lead VPK teacher. This will be my second year as lead teacher in Room 7. I love being a part of the children’s learning and growth throughout the year as they prepare for Kindergarten! I hold my 45 hour credential, my Florida Childcare Professionals Certification, my CLASS Foundations Certification, and a VPK Early Literacy Certification. |
