​Hello friends! I’m Pastor Scott and I like to say I am “an acquired taste.” My approach to life and ministry has been called “not normal” and I take that as a compliment because not only did Jesus do things considered not normal but He expected that of His followers too. That is what makes me, me–uniquely created by God to serve Him. And so are you. You are uniquely loved by God and created to serve Him.

Over the years, through good times and hard times, I’ve found it quite helpful to really focus on being thankful for what God has given me. I want to encourage you to do the same! God has blessed us with so much! For example: I’m super thankful for coffee, stories, and challenges.
I’m beyond grateful for my family. I am blessed to be married to my best friend. My beautiful wife, Lauren, and I have been married since 2005. God has blessed us with four unique children: Lilly, Grady, Edy, and Heidy.  Together we have the joy of serving Christ wherever God places us!
I am most thankful for Jesus. He is the best. He died for me. He rose for me. He gave me this tremendous gift all for free. He did this for you too! I’m blessed to have had the opportunity to share this good news as a pastor in the Midwest since 2006 with people just like you! Now I’m thankful and excited to experience God’s amazing beauty and share His amazing grace at Bethel in Hobe Sound!
